Recently, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce issued “The Key Works of Developing Night-economy in Tianjin 2021”, which will further improve the night consumption scenes, enrich the nightlife connotation and improve the supporting guarantee, and strive to build about 10 characteristic commercial streets and 100 new 24-hour convenience stores before the end of the year, so as to speed up the building of the "Nightlife in Tianjin" brand and cultivating nightlife culture.

This year, our city will continue to upgrade Night-economy Demonstration Blocks, support Jinyue City to build a municipal Night-economy Demonstration Block, and focus on building the Tianjin Cultural Center Square, Tianjin Jin Street, the Fifth Avenue, Italian Style Street, Tianjin Old City and other areas into landmark nightlife business districts, and each district will promote one or two comprehensive nightlife business zones.

Promote the introduction of Tianhuajing and Tianshijing Crosstalk Hall in Jin Street, Happy Twist Theater in the Fifth Avenue, and Deyun Crosstalk Association in Italian Style Street, and more... The integration and development of business/culture/recreation/sport style is also the key work this year, and other major blocks also plan to launch a number of cultural and leisure activities such as crosstalk, movies, music, reading and sports.

On the basis of Jin Street upgrading, our city will also expand the effectiveness of commercial street construction, and combine it with the identification of Night-economy Demonstration Blocks to form a number of characteristic commercial streets with the themes of department stores, leisure, catering, bars, cultural creativity, antiques and music, and strive to build about 10 characteristic commercial streets before the end of the year. At the same time, it is estimated that a total of 100 24-hour convenience stores will be built throughout the year, and a number of 24-hour bookstores and pharmacies will be built.

The second Tianjin Nightlife Festival will be held for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region this year, with the linkage of e-commerce platforms and banks issuing exclusive coupons. Beer Festival, Night Market Shopping Festival, Music Festival, Electronic Music Festival, E-sports Festival, Light Show and Market Day will also be staged in turn.

In addition, our city will continue to publish night boutique consumption routes, voting for the Top Ten "Must-see Spots" for night tours in Jinmen, and encourage professional markets such as home building materials and automobile 4S shops and rural areas to carry out night market activities.

It is reported that the relevant departments of our city will assist enterprises and brand merchants for planning and operating works, carry out exchange activities in the fields of food and culture with Xi'an, Chengdu and Guangzhou, and introduce diversified business forms such as experiential, entertaining, interactive and immersive, as well as online celebrity stores, New Retail-theme stores, intangible cultural heritages and time-honored brands. At the same time, all districts are encouraged to explore time-limited commercial pedestrian streets and weekend night markets to maximize the use of urban space resources.
