The 2024 World Intelligence Expo (a combination of the former World Intelligence Congress and Smart China Expo), is jointly sponsored by Tianjin Municipal People’s Government and Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. The upcoming expo will thoroughly implement Chinese President Xi Jinping's important instructions about developing artificial intelligence and the guiding principles of the important speech he delivered when inspecting Tianjin, follow the requirements about “achieving four intended goals as planned” (goals of developing new productive forces, further deepening reform and opening-up in all-round way, driving cultural inheritance and development and improving the modernization of urban governance), and particularly aim to be a pioneer that promotes new productive forces. It will fully tap its clustering role as an international platform, focus on frontier technology, facilitate the exchange of advanced ideas, drive global cooperation, and gather resources to build a high-end, international, specialized and market-oriented expo that leads technological trends. It will promote the deeper integration between digital economy and real economy, advance the high-end, intelligent and green development of the manufacturing industry, and provide sustained impetus to drive the accelerated building of a modern industrial system led by the intelligent technology industry and the faster formation of new productive forces.
