On May 8th, the mobilization and deployment meeting for the reception and support work of the 7th WIC was held in Tianjin. Vice Mayor Zhu Peng of Tianjin presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Vice Mayor Zhang Ling, Deputy Secretary General Wang Xudong, Yu Pengzhou, and Yang Po attended, and 78 relevant committees, bureaus, district governments, and units from the city participated.

At the meeting, the representative of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Organizing Committee of the World Intelligence Conference, reported on the overall preparation of the conference, and the representative of the Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, the Office of Tiankai Higher Education Science and Technology Innovation Park, reported on the preparation of the park opening event. Deputy Secretary General Yu Pengzhou deployed the reception work, and more than 30 individuals made communication speeches.

The meeting pointed out that the 7th WIC was the first international grand event in China after the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and also the first large-scale international conference activity in our city this year since the resumption of offline hosting, with an unprecedented scale. The Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Government attach great importance to the preparatory work for the 7th WIC, emphasizing that "holding a conference means handling affairs", and requiring all parties to work together to ensure high-quality hosting of the WIC. At present, the preparatory work for the conference is progressing smoothly, and the next steps are specific in terms of work ideas and measures. This conference is both a deployment and mobilization. There are three requirements for the follow-up work of the conference:

Firstly, we need to further improve our position, deepen our ideological understanding, and enhance our sense of responsibility and urgency in our work.

We need to fully understand the enormity of the current task. This year, the attention of all sectors of society to the WIC has further increased, and the level of internationalization has significantly improved. More and more international organizations, friends, and guests are coming to participate in the conference, fully reflecting the international community's attention to the conference. In addition, major leaders from multiple provinces and cities in China led teams to participate in the conference, further demonstrating the importance that all parties attach to the conference. Each meeting should not only fully inherit and carry forward the good experiences and practices of the past, but also have a new concept of organizing the meeting, eliminate habitual ideas, avoid paralysis and lax thinking, and show a spirit of twelve cents to successfully hold the meeting.

We need to fully recognize the urgency of the task. There are only a few days left until the opening of the conference, and it has reached the final sprint stage. Each unit needs to further deduce, modify, and improve all plans, and have a rehearsal, organization, and guarantee for all possible situations. Each unit should organize specific personnel to come to the site to familiarize themselves with the environment and situation, do much work, and make every effort to investigate various problems.

The second is to further compact and tighten the responsibility, do practical and meticulous work, and ensure that there is no mistake.

The 52 units participating in the special reception should continue to refine the plan according to the one-on-one requirements, follow up in a timely manner, and supplement and improve according to changes and progress according to the division of tasks. Matters involving important guests should be well connected, and their own sectors should be well deployed. The leaders of each unit should personally take charge, coordinate and deploy skilled personnel to ensure the security work is done well. Each task and link should be assigned to the responsible person, ensuring that everyone is responsible for everything, all work is on site, and there is a backup in all situations, ensuring that all reception work is flawless. We require proper arrangements for hospitality and various services, which are both efficient and warm.

In addition, it is necessary to organize various forum activities well, and the reception unit should be familiar with every guest received, achieving seamless connection. Not only should we hold a safe, pragmatic, high-end and exciting international event, but we should also do our own thing well in Tianjin and tell our own story well. We need to strengthen the atmosphere creation, showcase the vitality and image of the city, and use the conference as an important opportunity to promote the development of Tianjin's culture and tourism.

Thirdly, we need to further strengthen cooperation and form a game of chess throughout the city.

We must give full play to the leading role of the organizing committee of the conference, adhere to comprehensive coordination, fully mobilize resources from all aspects, ensure the formation of an integrated and unified game of chess, unified command and scheduling, and strictly prevent multiple leaders from commanding and acting independently. We need collaborate horizontally with each other, complement each other, and quickly enter the wartime state and final sprint stage. Each task should be completed on a daily basis, and efforts should be made to advance the rehearsal to ensure that the conference is held smoothly as scheduled.
